We bring to your attention the Statement of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Women addressed to the UN Women.
Given the high priority for all women and girls to live a life free from all forms of violence, we
urge UN Women:
– to assert its call for ceasefire and make a statement condemning the Azerbaijani aggression and
calling for an end to the war,
– to initiate monitoring/fact-finding mission of the situation of women and girls within the
ongoing war and to report to the UN Security Council under the Resolution 1325.
– to provide respective assistance within its mandate to women affected by the war.
